Other common problems
=====================

   Here is a list of problems which cannot be readily looked up based
on an error message.  They are in no particular order.

   * If `cvs update' finds a conflict and tries to merge, as described
     in See Conflicts example, but doesn't tell you there were
     conflicts, then you may have an old version of RCS.  For more
     information on how to set this up, see the `INSTALL' file in the
     CVS source distribution.
